Portal Dashboard
Monitor all your devices, backup health, storage usage, and activity from a single dashboard.
Dashboard Overview
The Customer Portal dashboard gives you a bird's-eye view of your entire backup environment. It displays the status of all registered devices, recent backup activity, storage consumption, and any alerts that require your attention — all in real time.
Access the portal at portal.backupengine.com using the same credentials you use for the desktop agent. Team administrators see data for all devices across the organization.
Device Overview
The device overview section lists every machine registered to your account with its current backup status.
- •Device name, operating system, and agent version are displayed for each machine.
- •Status indicators: Green (healthy, recent successful backup), Yellow (warning, backup overdue), Red (critical, backup failed or agent offline).
- •Last backup timestamp and next scheduled backup time are shown for each device.
- •Click any device to see detailed backup history, installed backup sets, and storage breakdown.
- •Filter and sort devices by name, status, last backup date, or operating system.

Storage Usage
The storage usage panel shows how much cloud storage your account is consuming, broken down by device and backup set.
- •Total storage used vs. your plan's included storage allocation.
- •Per-device breakdown showing which machines consume the most storage.
- •Per-backup-set breakdown within each device.
- •Deduplication savings: How much storage was saved by content-defined deduplication.
- •Storage trend chart showing usage growth over the past 30, 60, and 90 days.
- •If approaching your storage limit, the dashboard displays a warning with upgrade options.
